A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR
Praise the Lord Calvary Family!
This is the day that the Lord hath made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. As we look at all the wild things going on around us today, this verse of scripture becomes highly relevant. We can wonder in times like this if God is still in control, and if He is looking out for His people. However, the truth is, God made this day. And we have the choice to believe this to be the truth or to reject it. When we decide to believe that God has created this day, then our immediate response should be to rejoice. Rejoice in God and His power over all things above, below, and underneath the earth.
I would encourage each of us to turn to the word of scripture in these uncertain times. The scriptures are full of the many promises of God towards His people. We need to highlight and meditate on each of these promises. They were given to you and I from our Father above. In the promise scriptures, we find strength, peace, and joy for today and tomorrow.
Our campaign highlights God’s faithfulness and gives us reason to rejoice and be glad in these trying times. We are approaching the finishing of the building in the next couple months! Rejoice that the concrete is finished! Rejoice that the building is closed in! Rejoice that the brickwork is done! This is the time that we need to remain faithful in our praying, giving and faith in God. We still have many pieces of the puzzle that need to come together before the move in. I would ask you to keep the P33 project in prayer. Keep praying the prayer points as they come available. Also keep faithful to our financial commitments. I believe if we will do these things and rejoice, that God will supply all our needs and fulfill His promises to each of us.
We are praying for each of you.
